About Us

D&S Service Centre was first opened back in August of 1977 by Dave Turner. Dave has been in the automotive industry since he was a young boy and eventually became certified in automotive repair in 1974. In 1977, D&S Service Centre was originally a BP 2-bay shop at the NW corner of Cathcart & Colborne in Sarnia, ON.

In 1981, Dave was approached to become a Shell Station operator of a larger shop on the corner of Devine & Indian in Sarnia, ON. In 1985, Shell sold the station, which forced Dave’s shop to move to the corner of Indian & Confederation. It was at this time when Dave’s son, Tim, started his apprenticeship at the shop to become a licensed truck and automotive technician.

Today, Tim runs the day to day operations for D&S Service Centre and is a licensed automotive technician. In 2014, our shop moved to our current location in Sarnia, ON to accommodate the needs of our customers. We staff 5 licensed technicians today and have a learning apprentice as well.
At our shop, we pride ourselves on always staying up-to-date with training, technology, and providing honest repairs. We also strive to always provide our customers with excellent customer service and trustworthy advice when it comes to their vehicles.

In order to give back to our community, we sponsor local sports teams and give back to local clubs within the city. We ultimately strive to make our community a better place!
