About D&S Service Centre LTD.
D & S Service Centre was established in August 1977 by a seasoned automotive industry professional, Dave Turner. With a passion for cars since his youth, Dave became certified in automotive repair in 1974. Initially, D & S Service Centre operated as a BP 2-bay shop at the NW corner of Cathcart & Colborne in Sarnia, ON.
In 1981, Dave transitioned to become a Shell Station operator of a larger shop at the corner of Devine & Indian in Sarnia, ON. However, in 1985, Shell sold the station, prompting Dave’s shop to relocate to the corner of Indian & Confederation. During this period, Dave’s son, Tim, began his apprenticeship as a licensed truck and automotive technician.
Today, Tim oversees the day-to-day operations of D & S Service Centre and is a licensed automotive technician. In 2014, our shop relocated to our current location in Sarnia, ON, to better serve our customers. We now boast a team of 4 licensed technicians and a dedicated apprentice.
